2025 Oktoberfest @ Bierhaus NYC 🍺🥨

Oktoberfest & Hofbräu Bier in Manhattan
Bierhaus NYC is brought to you through the love of Oktoberfest & Hofbräu bier. It is a Bavarian-style beer hall located just two blocks from Grand Central, serving authentic German cuisine and bier by the boot since 2011! Live music and steins of crisp Hofbräu bier will transport you to the tents of Oktoberfest in Munich, if only for a few hours including giant Bavaria pretzels, Apple Strudel, Schnitzel, Flammkuchen, Bratwurst and American dishes as well. Don’t forget to try the shotski if you are celebrating something special like Oktoberfest! Check the events page for live music and DJs. PROST! (means cheers in German)
Note: “Hofbräu Bier” refers to beer from a “court brewery” (Hofbräu) that historically supplied beer to a royal court or was owned by it. Today, the term can refer to any one of several German and Austrian breweries that carry this historic name, or more generally to the Hofbräuhaus in Munich, which was founded in 1589 to serve the Bavarian ducal court.
Note: A “shotski” is a ski with four shot glasses spread apart and attached to it, designed to enable friends to take shots in unison. When the Ski is tipped back, all of the glasses relinquish their contents, forcing friends to take their shots at the same time… or risk getting bathed in liquor. The origins of the shotski are murky. Some say it originated in Norway, where skiing was invented. Austrians claim it evolved from a ‘schnapps’ ski. The Canadians insist it came from the University of British Columbia’s ski team. You be the judge.
