AMC Kips Bay 15: Make Your Voice Heard at Upcoming CB6 Hearing

Neighbors concerned about the planned closure of AMC Kips Bay 15 will have an opportunity to make their voices heard at an upcoming Manhattan Community Board 6 meeting.

CB6 will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 9 at 7 PM at the Davis Pavilion at 25 Waterside Plaza as part of its Full Board meeting. Members of the public can register to speak and share their thoughts about the theater’s closure.

Can’t attend? CB6 is also accepting written testimony through Friday, September 11 at 5 PM, giving neighbors another way to have their comments included in the public record.

There is also some welcome news about nearby Fairway Market. According to CB6, a Fairway representative confirmed that the Kips Bay store holds a long-term lease and said they “look forward to continuing as a community-based business and neighborhood partner for many years to come.”
