Building owners: Get more time for LL97 reporting

New York City building owners and property managers — if you missed the deadline to file your Local Law 97 (LL97) compliance report, don’t panic. You can get more time, but you have to act fast! Submit a request by Friday, August 29, 2025 to extend your reporting deadline to Wednesday, December 31, 2025. If you have already received an extension, your reporting deadline will automatically be extended to December 31, 2025.  

Here’s what you need to know to apply for an extension request:  

• Submit your LL97 Extension Request ticket through the LL97 Reporting Portal and pay the $60 filing fee. 
• A professional attestation is not required to apply for an extension.
