Community Collaboration Shines on World Environment Day 🌎🌿

In celebration of World Environment Day, the Murray Hill Neighborhood Association proudly organized a neighborhood cleanup event that brought together City Council candidates Luke Florczak, Rachel Storch, Vanessa Aronson, and Virginia Maloney, along with residents, organizations, and international partners in a shared mission to enhance and beautify our beloved community.

This impactful initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Preservation & Design Missions/Consulates Outreach Committee and the Green & Clean Committee, who led the planning and coordination of the event. We extend a heartfelt thank you to the Permanent Mission of Thailand for graciously hosting us and providing a warm, welcoming gathering space for our volunteers, complete with a delicious breakfast to start the day on a high note.

We are also grateful to the St. Vartan Conservancy for supplying essential cleanup materials, including tools and gloves. Their generous support enabled our volunteers to work efficiently and safely as they removed litter and debris throughout the neighborhood.

Most of all, we thank the amazing volunteers, our neighbors, friends, and supporters, who dedicated their time and energy to making a real difference. Your commitment helps keep Murray Hill a cleaner, safer, and more vibrant place for everyone to live, work, and enjoy.

Together, we honored the spirit of World Environment Day by turning our shared environmental values into positive action. We are proud of what we achieved and look forward to future events that continue to unite and uplift our community.

Thank you for helping keep Murray Hill beautiful!
