Dorit Levinstein Sculptures Unveiled Along Park Avenue!
The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association, along with Patrons of Park Avenue, a committee of our association, as well as NYC Arts in the Parks and the NYC Department of Transportation is thrilled to welcome a stunning new outdoor art installation in our neighborhood!
In partnership with Eden Gallery, nine monumental sculptures by world acclaimed artist Dorit Levinstein were installed on Monday, May 11, 2026 along Park Avenue from 34th to 39th Streets, arriving just in time for the official ribbon cutting at Park Avenue Day 2026.
The exhibition introduces elements of movement, color, and form to the urban landscape. Levinstein’s sculptures present a distinctive visual vocabulary of figures and shapes, characterized by fluid lines and an elastic quality that defines their presence in space. Rendered in a wide spectrum of colors and drawing on subjects that range from human figures and animals to flowers and everyday objects, her work comprises a varied and notable body of sculpture.
These sculptures will remain for one year and we invite you to explore them first-hand.
