“Fragile Giants” Nominated for Best Neighborhood Installation!

WindowsWear (@windowswear) has announced that Michel Bassompierre’s (@michelbassompierresculptor) “Fragile Giants” sculpture exhibition on the Park Avenue Malls has been officially nominated for Best Neighborhood Installation for this year’s WindowsWear Awards. The collaboration between Patrons of Park Avenue (POPA), a committee within the Murray Hill Neighborhood Association, Galeries Bartoux (@lesgaleriesbartoux), and NYC Parks, debuted these world-class bronze and resin animal figures to the heart of Murray Hill at last year’s Park Avenue Day 2025. From the towering gorilla at 34th Street to the peaceful bears along the malls, this installation has transformed our local landscape into an accessible open-air gallery that sparks vital conversations about nature and conservation. We invite all residents to celebrate this achievement and cast their vote to help us win by visiting windowswear.com/awards.
