Housing Lottery in Murray Hill Closes This Week

If affordable housing has been on your radar, or you know someone who could benefit, the housing lottery for 534 Third Avenue closes this Tuesday, July 7.

The lottery includes 40 affordable apartments in the new 17-story Art Deco-inspired building at the corner of East 36th Street and Third Avenue. Apartments are available for households earning 40% to 130% of Area Median Income (AMI), with qualifying incomes ranging from approximately $38,983 to $238,160, depending on household size and apartment type. Studio apartments start at approximately $969 per month.

Twenty percent of the available apartments are set aside with a preference for current residents of Manhattan Community District 6, which includes Murray Hill.

Applications must be submitted through NYC Housing Connect by the July 7 deadline.
