Jon Harari is Elected As Our New President!

Jon Harari (Vice President since 2023 and Trustee since 2014), was just elected President of the Murray Hill Neighborhood Association, where he has made a significant impact by leading a series of transformative initiatives to preserve, beautify, and improve Manhattan’s historic Murray Hill neighborhood, and is looking to take our historic organization to the next level.

In 2022, as Co-Chairman of Patrons of Park Avenue, Jon spearheaded the launch the sculpture program on Park Avenue in Murray Hill, which commenced with renowned artist Idriss B., bringing contemporary art to one of New York City’s most iconic streets. This program has since gained international acclaim, with its exhibitions featured across media outlets locally and globally.

“It’s about fostering relationships that make our neighborhood vibrant, connected, and strong,” Jon says.

His leadership has also revitalized the Park Avenue Day Street Festival, attracting tens of thousands of attendees and breathing new life into the neighborhood’s community events.

“The key is our willingness to work together—trustees, residents, local businesses, and every person who calls Murray Hill home.”

Jon also enhanced the annual tree lighting and holiday party, which now draws hundreds of neighbors, creating a festive celebration that strengthens community bonds and traditions.

Beyond his work with the Murray Hill Neighborhood Association, Jon is the co-founder and CEO of WindowsWear, a leading online platform that showcases the best creativity in retail from around the world. Under his leadership, WindowsWear has grown into a thriving global community of creative professionals and brands, providing unique industry insights, data, and trends with clients from around the world.

“My passion for innovation, community, and creativity helps create lasting impacts both in the global retail world as well as in my local community.“

Jon has been living in Murray Hill since 2006 and is originally from North Potomac, MD. Prior to moving to New York City, Jon earned a B.S. in Business with a Concentration in Finance and a Minor in Sociology from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business Honors Program, graduating magna cum laude. Jon is also a member of the Amateur Comedy Club, Berkeley College’s Fashion Advisory Board, NYC Tourism + Conventions, and more.

Jon succeeds Diane Bartow, who previously served as President.
