Dear Neighbor,

I’m excited to share that next Tuesday, the New York City Department of Housing, Preservation, and Development will be taking appointments for constituents in my district office! HPD’s housing expert can address issues on some of the following topics:

• Finding affordable housing in New York City
• Learning about tenants’ rights and responsibilities
• Addressing harassment, safety, or discrimination claims against landlords
• Maintaining safe living conditions, including related to heat, hot water, lead, and other safety issues
• Applying for home repair loans
• Finding housing payment assistance, such as rent subsidies, SCRIE, DRIE, or other programs
• And more!
