Manhattan Place Hosts Vibrant Diwali Celebration

On Sunday, November 10th, the residential community of Manhattan Place at 630 1st Avenue was alight with joy and festive cheer as residents gathered to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights. Approximately 50 residents and guests joined the celebration, filling the evening with warmth, community spirit, and cultural festivities.

The event was a colorful affair, adorned with traditional Diwali decorations that included glowing diyas, vibrant rangoli designs, and string lights that transformed the space into a beautiful homage to the festival’s themes of light and positivity. Guests were welcomed with an array of traditional and festive foods, including popular Diwali treats and drinks that brought together flavors from South Asia and beyond.

The celebration was not only a chance to share food and drinks but also an opportunity for residents to connect, share stories, and embrace the diversity within their community.
