Murray Hill Residents Take Part in Mohegan Sun Visit

On Friday, August 15, 2025, members of the Murray Hill community participated in an exclusive trip to Mohegan Sun. The visit provided an opportunity to learn more about the resort and its operations as part of the ongoing discussions surrounding the Freedom Plaza development proposal.

During the trip, leaders from Mohegan Sun spoke about their core values, their approach to safety, and their commitment to community engagement. The visit offered attendees first-hand perspective on how these principles guide the company’s work.

As a next step, residents are encouraged to attend the upcoming Community Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Scandinavia House (58 Park Avenue at 38th Street). The meeting will provide an opportunity for further dialogue, updates, and community feedback.
