NYC DOT Important Notice – Upcoming Construction/Park Avenue & 34th St.

Please see the attached NYC DOT Important Notice regarding upcoming construction at the intersection of Park Avenue and 34^th Street associated with the Park Avenue Tunnel Rehabilitation Project.

Work will begin on Thursday, October 3^rd with installation of revised pavement markings on E.34^th Street. To perform required work above, the tunnel must be fully closed. It will be closed from 9:00 a.m. Friday, October 4^th through Monday, October 14^th at 6:00 a.m. 

Lane closures on Park Avenue northbound and southbound will continue. Please consult the attached notice for additional details on those closures. Work on E.34^th Street is expected to continue through early November and weekly updates will be provided. 

Please note there will be NO construction activities from sundown Friday, October 11^th through sundown Saturday, October 12^th in observance of Yom Kippur.
