NYCDOT Important Notice – Park Avenue Tunnel
HeatherThe NYCDOT Division of Bridges will begin preparations for watermain replacement at the intersection of
Park Avenue and E. 34th St. and inside the Park Avenue Tunnel.
The first phase of construction will begin on or about Monday, August 19th and will continue for approximately 3 weeks.
As a result, the travel lane inside the tunnel will be narrowed and full tunnel closures will be in effect during
nighttime hours.
