NYPD 17th Precinct Community Council Hosts 2026 National Night Out Against Crime at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza

The 17th Precinct Community Council held its annual National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 4, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza on 47th Street between First and Second Avenues.

The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association joined this year’s participants and donors, along with NYC CERT, Clowns.com, Club Pilates, CVS, the New York County District Attorney’s Office, East Midtown Partnership, Grand Central Partnership, Manhattan Community Board 6, NYU Langone Health, Sutton Area Community, and the Turtle Bay Association.

Officers from the 17th Precinct grilled burgers and hot dogs, The Creswell Club provided live music, and children took part in carnival games and photo ops with police vehicles. Community organizations staffed tables with information on local programs and services.
