Opportunity for Public Comment – East River Esplanade

The NYC Department of Parks & Recreation has applied for permits to the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. The Parks Department proposes rehabilitation of pile encasements and repairs to the seawall along approximately 500 feet of shoreline in tidal wetlands and adjacent areas along the East River Esplanade, from East 36th to 38th Streets, Block 969, Lot 50, and Block 968, Lot 50, in Manhattan Community District 6.
