Park Avenue Day 2025: A Vibrant Celebration of Art, Community, and Culture in Murray Hill!

On Saturday, May 17, 2025, Park Avenue Day 2025 cruised into New York City like a vintage Rolls-Royce, transforming Park Avenue between 34th and 39th Streets into a dazzling showcase of art, culture, and community spirit.

Artistic Highlights

A centerpiece of the day’s festivities was the unveiling of Michel Bassompierre’s monumental exhibition, Fragile Giants. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, held at 4 PM at 38th Street and Park Avenue, marked the official opening of the installation, which features nine monumental animal sculptures, including gorillas and polar bears, crafted in Bassompierre’s signature polished bronze and luminous white resin. The exhibition, organized in collaboration with Galeries Bartoux and the Patrons of Park Avenue (POPA), will remain on display along Park Avenue until May 2026.
