Real ID Deadline is May 7
The federal government is requiring everyone to obtain a Real ID, Enhanced ID or passport by May 7, 2025, in order to board domestic flights and access certain federal buildings. The law requiring a Real ID was passed in 2005 in response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
