MHNA A Morning of Community Care
Newsletters

Rescue a Tree. Meet Your Neighbors. Stay for Coffee.

Join us on Saturday, July 11 for our Morning of Community Care! Spend a fun morning making a visible difference in Murray Hill, then head to The Coffee Haus for coffee, conversation, and community.

We’ll team up in small groups to rescue some of Murray Hill’s young street trees by picking up litter, pulling weeds, loosening compacted soil, and giving each tree a deep watering. No experience is needed. We’ll show you everything you need to know.

Each team will also have the opportunity to adopt their tree through the summer! Don’t worry, it’s much easier than it sounds. Each tree will be shared by a few neighbors, so you’ll only need to water it every few weeks. We’ll even provide watering bags to make it quick and easy.

Our youngest street trees need a little extra help to survive their first few summers, and with just a small effort, we can help them thrive while making Murray Hill greener and more beautiful.

Whether you join us just for the morning, decide to adopt your tree for the summer, or simply meet us afterward for Coffee with Quality of Life, we’d love to see you on July 11th.

Please RSVP HERE so we can plan volunteer teams and supplies.
