Roast Coffee: Small Batch, Big Flavor in Murray Hill

Roast (@roast_coffee_shops) is a small-batch coffee shop in Murray Hill, on East 40th Street right off 2nd Avenue.

The cafe pulls espresso and makes its syrups in-house, including vanilla, cinnamon, lavender, caramelized banana, cookie butter, strawberry & blueberry syrup, to ensure customer’s lattes actually taste real (vs. something instead like pumped sugar).

They also offer grilled cheese, turkey sandwiches, fresh pastries, and macarons, and welcomes neighbors to say hi and hang out at their establishment.
