Rooftop bar with sunsets @ The Prince Kitano Hotel🍸🌅

“Roof at 66 Park” is a hotel rooftop bar at The Prince Kitano New York on the 18th floor.  Enjoy cocktails and a variety of other drinks recommended by the bartenders while gazing at the Manhattan sunset from this stylish rooftop bar including views of iconic skyscrapers like the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings.

Hakubai, the hotel’s eatery, offers Japanese fare & ancient Kaiseki cuisine tasting menus.  It reopened on November 20st, 2023, after being closed for renovations. The restaurant underwent a complete redesign and revitalization.  Hukubai means white plum blossom.  Kaiseki, rooted in the spirit of gathering and imbibing enhanced by a curated menu of many hyper seasonal dishes, traces its origins back 680 years. Each course captures the philosophy of “shun,” where every ingredient is enjoyed at the peak of its flavor.  From the craftsmanship expressed in the cuisine to elegant dining vessels created by Japanese artists, hakubai combines traditional Kaiseki principles with modern approachability.  Two award-winning chefs have been selected from Japan to guide the kaiseki culinary journey at hakubai. Head Chef Keisuke Otsuka and Chocolatier & Pastry Chef Mariko Hosokawa have collaboratively composed a 9-course seasonal tasting menu, highlighting traditional Japanese techniques.

The Kitano Hotel on 38th Street & Park Avenue reopened December 1st, 2023 after the pandemic, rebranded as The Prince Kitano New York under the management of Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide, marking their first property in the U.S. The hotel underwent renovations to its restaurants, lobby, and guest rooms.  The hotel has 150 guest rooms across 18 floors.  Kitano means northern wilderness.
