Snowy Morning, Warm Hearts in Murray Hill
We were excited to kick off the MHNA partnership with Dorot today through our first Group Winter Package Delivery—but Mother Nature had other plans! While the volunteer delivery event was canceled due to the snow, the spirit of the day was very much alive.
Instead of staying home, a dozen of the Murray Hill neighbors who had signed up to volunteer gathered for hot chocolate and conversation at a local café, proving that meaningful community can happen in all kinds of imperfect conditions.
A heartfelt thank you to a new local business, Murray Café, for warmly welcoming us on a very snowy morning and generously giving neighbors a cozy place to connect.
It was truly inspiring to see residents come together to share their passion for giving back and their ideas for helping to make the quality of life in Murray Hill even better. Thank you to everyone who showed up! And if you couldn’t make it this morning, we hope to see you at the next event.
We’re looking forward to scheduling the next Dorot group volunteer event soon and continuing this wonderful momentum of neighborly care and collaboration.💙
