The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) Young Professionals is proud to announce the launch of its new cultural event series, “Songs of the Diaspora” — an immersive journey through the music, history, and heritage of Jewish communities around the world.

Join us for the first installment:

🎶 Ladino Night

📅 Tuesday, August 19
🕕 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Midtown Manhattan
(Exact location provided upon registration)

This inaugural evening will highlight the rich musical legacy of Sephardic Jews, featuring a live performance by Abram Kaplan, a gifted Sephardic singer-songwriter known for reviving traditional Ladino melodies with contemporary soul.

Guests will enjoy:

  • Wine & cheese reception
  • Live musical performance and cultural discussion
  • Networking with fellow young Jewish professionals

“Songs of the Diaspora” seeks to piece together the fractured history of the Jewish Diaspora — one song at a time. Each event in the series will explore a different corner of the Jewish world through music and storytelling.
