The Consulate Murray Hill – Now Open

The Consulate is officially opening its doors for its third location on 160 East 38th Street, taking over the longtime home of El Rio Grande, a neighborhood staple for over 45 years, and beginning an exciting new chapter in the space.

As our third location, this 300+ seat destination brings our signature French-meets–New American approach to Murray Hill, paired with a sprawling outdoor setup designed for warm-weather dining and long afternoons that turn into evenings.

We’re honored to carry forward the energy of a place with so much history, and even more excited to welcome our new neighbors and community into it.
