Webinar: What is Prop 1?

I will be hosting a virtual event titled “What Is Proposition 1? Everything You Need To Know About NY’s Equal Rights Amendment On Your Ballot This November” next Tuesday, October 15th beginning at 6:30 PM. As you know, abortion rights, as well as protections for LGBTQ New Yorkers, older adults, and people with disabilities, are on the ballot this year. But there is still a lot of confusion about what exactly this amendment will do, and the anti-abortion movement is running a well-funded campaign to mislead voters across our state about this proposal.

Next Tuesday’s webinar will be a chance to learn about the ERA and what it does, respond to opposition talking points (including some really off-the-wall stuff), and get engaged in spreading the word before Election Day.

I hope that you can join me for this important event and that you will share the invitation with your network. RSVP here!
