Winter Magic in Murray Hill ❄️

Can you believe it was only a week ago that New York City was wrapped up in a full-on winter wonderland? For a brief, beautiful moment, the blizzard slowed us down just enough to remind us how special this city looks when everything goes quiet.

Here in Murray Hill, snow clung to the branches of our street trees, softening the city edges and turning familiar blocks into something straight out of a storybook. The brownstones of the historic district looked picture-perfect, their stoops covered in a thick blanket of snow. It was as if the whole neighborhood decided to stay in, nice and cozy.

On Park Avenue, the Fragile Giants sculptures stood tall in the cold, covered by snow and looking like they might have preferred to hibernate until spring. Even so, they added a little extra whimsy to an already magical scene.

Whether you layered up for a snowy neighborhood walk, watched the flakes fall from your window with a hot cup of coffee, or headed up to Central Park for an afternoon of sledding and building snowmen, it was one of those very New York moments—fleeting, and completely unforgettable.

Did you get outside to enjoy it? What’s your favorite way to do winter in NYC? Let us know in the comments!
